BRYSON HUGHES

Bryson Hughes is Chief of Staff for Lincoln Room Strategies, with more than a decade of experience managing executive operations, engaging C-suite and elected stakeholders around critical policy initiatives, and designing events and experiences that meet the moment.

Prior to joining the Lincoln Room team, Bryson served in key roles in the Biden-Harris Administration – including as Deputy Director for Advance for U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Deputy Director for Operations & Advisor to Deputy Secretary Polly Trottenberg, and Advance Associate for President Biden. In his most recent roles in the Office of the Secretary, he conducted daily high-level stakeholder engagement and provided international and domestic events management support to Secretary Buttigieg, offered policy and staff management counsel to the Deputy Secretary, and helped manage the Office alongside the Department's senior operations team.

A financial analyst and management consultant by trade, Bryson has supported clients across a variety of sectors – including federal, state, and local government, health care, technology, corporate finance, and compliance. He previously consulted for AArete, Clarity Partners, Sidley Austin LLP, and Geometry Global.

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Bryson earned a Bachelor’s degree in communication studies & business institutions from Northwestern University and a Master’s degree in finance and business Strategy from DePaul University. He currently resides just outside of Washington, DC.
