Not just another consulting firm
We named our firm “Lincoln Room Strategies” after the executive conference space at the U.S. Department of Transportation, where nearly every major policy decision — and significant internal debate — has taken place over the past two decades. Our team takes the work we do for the companies, communities, and causes we support today just as seriously.
Our founding team played key leadership roles in crafting the policies and programs governing how hundreds of billions of dollars are being spent – impacting all 50 states, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, and tribal nations.
Since 2021, we have driven executive decisions leading to:
More than $670B in resources across more than 100 programs in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA)
More than 72,000 projects underway in 4,500 cities and towns across the country
The greatest investment in roads and bridges since the Eisenhower system
The greatest investment in rail since the inception of Amtrak
The most money ever for transit
The most money ever for electric vehicles
The first climate title
The first time we’ve dedicated money to stitch together communities ripped apart by highways
We helped shape new guidance and funding opportunities that will impact existing and emerging technologies – and determine how we move people and goods for decades to come, including:
Standards for EV charging infrastructure including through NEVI and CFI
Guardrails and incentives for advanced air mobility and unmanned aerial systems
Automation of passenger cars and heavy-duty vehicles that will have a direct impact on roadway safety
Connected vehicle and infrastructure pilot programs and demonstration efforts
A first-of-its-kind DOT-led supply chain council and data sharing initiative to safeguard against future disruptions in the goods movement chain
Our work has helped catalyze $900B of private sector investment in manufacturing and clean energy – including new initiatives at the nation’s largest ports and maritime facilities.
Our work has also supported investments in:
5,000 new clean, American-made buses
Updated or upgraded airport terminals, expanded operations, or improved runway infrastructure at more than 1,500 airports
More than 445 rail projects to improve rail safety and replace aging infrastructure
Repairs on 207,000 miles of roadways and 12,300 bridges
1,060 port and waterway projects
695 transportation projects across 220 tribal nations
We led the development of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Roadway Safety Strategy (NRSS), which set for the first time ever a goal of zero deaths on our roadways and launched a “Call to Action” that has inspired major public, private, and nonprofit sector commitments to help end the crisis of deaths and serious injuries.
We did all of these things while ensuring equity and economic opportunity for all.
